We, the undersigned, note with great concern the proposals in
respect of A&E and maternity services at Lewisham Hospital
contained in the draft report of the Special Administrator of
the South London Healthcare Trust published on 29 October 2012.
We believe a full admitting A&E service and a full maternity
service at Lewisham Hospital must remain and ask the
Administrator to amend his final recommendations to the
Secretary of State to reflect this.
We further call upon the Secretary of State for Health to
reject any recommendations put to him which would result in
reductions in the services provided to residents of Lewisham
by Lewisham Hospital.

I gave birth to my daughter here last year and it would be such a shame to see this unit go. Amazing care
Ridiculous proposal. Leave it as it is.
LEAVE OUR HOSPITAL ALONE. We need the A&E local. Stupid idea to close it.
This is my local hospital and ive used the A&E many times. It would be a disaster if these cuts went ahead.
My son was born at Lewisham and the midwives were incredible. You cant just shut this down its essential for the community.
