On December 26, 2008, Zach Walker received notification from the PDGA that he was being suspended for one year, as well as an additional year of probation. Here is what happened: On September 27, 2008, at the Phoenix Ladies Open disc golf tournament, Zach was at the park as a spectator, encouraging his wife and friends as they participated in the event. At the conclusion of the tournament, group pictures were taken. During one of the pictures, Zach was standing next to the photographer and "mooned" the group. Here's the problem: Apparently there were kids present, along with someone else that had issue with Zach's actions. This act was not malicious, and certainly not intended to offend. Zach feels really bad that this even happened, but can't personally apologize because he has no idea who filed the complaint. Every PDGA event that Zach misses is putting financial stress on his family and his business. For the last seven years Zach has devoted all of his time to disc golf as well as helping fellow disc golfers. NOW IT IS OUR TURN TO HELP ZACH !! Please do one of the following or both... 1. Sign the online petition to help Zach get reinstated to the PDGA with probation only. 2. Write a letter to the PDGA in support of Zach. This petition will be submitted to the PDGA on or before March 27th, please get your signatures in before this date. Thank you for your support....
