200 years after the abolition of transatlantic slave trade migrants across British cities are abused, stripped of dignity and forced in to destitution -eating in bins sleeping in toilets, parks and telephone boxes as they wait to be deported to death. Migrants are still confined to the margins of the society; society that accept without question the services that migrants provide.
We are calling for a new government policy that would introduce a one-off
limited regularization for many thousands of migrants forced to live and work in a state of illegality, deprived of rights and vulnerable to exploitation.
