| 2909 | Mike Allen | Please let the kids ride. How are they going to properly learn how to ride ATV's if you banned them the ability to be taught properly. |
| 2910 | Greg Taber | please don't legislate families from enjoying
the outdoors together. |
| 2911 | wayne Marshall | Hockey, football, bicycles, skate boards, should also be baned forks knives, anything with sharp edges corners,we should also rap everything in foam just to be safe.
Yeh right get reall people kids get hurt on lots of stuff its the parents responsibilty to supervise there kids in hockey track an feild basball, cycleing what ever, botom line a little common scense goes along way the problem with common scense is its not very common.
A littl parental supervision goes along way too.

| 2922 | Timothy Hickey | let them ride , focus on something which makes more sense like gas prices and taxes and leave the kids alone! |
| 2923 | Leonard Burgess | I agree with the comment about the operation of the child size atvs continuing despite the ban will develop a disrespect for the law . However as a parent of a child with a 'kids quad' the answer is training and supervision rather than banning. |
| 2924 | Dan Draper | Virtually every fatal ATV accident involving kids pointed to a flagrant lack of parental supervision. Jail those parents, leave the rest of us alone. |
| 2925 | gerald forest | There are far more important issues in our communities to be concerned with than trying to police this Bill 17. The time, money and resources would be better spent on health care and education as oppose to having stats canada giving us another statistic. These atvs and mini dirtbikes are readily available any where and everywhere, so one would think the decision to purchase one for their daughter and/or son should be to a parent or guardian provided that some form of reconized training were available ( it being another form of a government money grab, of course! )
To me it's really about responsible adults teaching responsible young riders to enjoy their childhood up bringing. |
| 2926 | Jeanne Brooker | I have a 14 yr old grandson who is as big as the average adult and very responible. I have seen many who would be permited to drive a ATV who are NOT. What is needed is improved safety for not only young drivers but adults! |

| 2932 | Serina Baker | let the kids ride!! |

| 2934 | chad cail | let us ride !! |
| 2935 | Rosemarie Clark | We all ride together myself Mom, Dad, and two son's the youngest 11 rides(49cc) the oldest 18 rides (110cc 5 speed). This was a fun pass time for us at the camp. Not totally understanding when the new laws and what they are will take effect and the steep fines, we know longer ride any of our bikes. Not only does Bill 17 get under my skin, but the fact we have to licence some ATV's and still get a fine if our bikes touch the pavement! I'm so discouraged that we have not even renewed our Mortorcycles. |
| 2936 | Kevin Ouellette | Bill 17 will cause more accidents in the long term. Children need to learn to ride bikes at a young age (on appropriate bike size for age). By the time they turn 16, they will have learned how to ride a bike therefore ready to drive on public roads. By delaying children to 14 and 15 years old will be a mistake, they will not have enough experience to drive on public roads at 16. |

| 2942 | Marc Mazerolle | Why should the responsible suffer for the acts of a few irresponsible? |
| 2943 | Justin Bird | I know a 5 year old that drives a 4 wheeler better then me. It is not the bike that hurts the child, it is usually the lack of supervision.
Discipline parents, not riders. |

| 2950 | Steve Bachert | My Son controls his bike with the throttle, my daughter likes horses, their nice too. But sad to say horses are more dangerous. They control the throttle!! Laws like this are hideous they promote laxness which is killing the next gen. things like playstation is what kids fill up their time with if they cant be active |
