   Comments: When the OWS march arrived from Philly to Zuccotti Park, police attacked peaceful protestors and some ended up in the hospital. Two days later in LA someone was shot in the face with some "non-lethal" bullet during an "Artwalk" for drawing with chalk on the sidewalk. None of this was considered news. Is violently assaulting peaceful protestors now so normal and acceptable in America that it's not even worth noting when these things happen? Apparently according to venues like the New York Times, whose editors seem to feel such events should not be recorded in the "paper of record", but that obviously false sensationalist claims about OWS that try to paint it, instead as violent in the public's eyes - and thus make it even easier for police to attack people trying to exercise their First Amendment rights - should.
