My name is Natalia Lattuca. I am an 8th grader at LFMS (Lake Forest Middle School) My friends and i have been thinking about this for a while . Our school(Lake Forest Middle School) seperates us by genders. Like when we get to school in the gym they put girls on one side then the guys on the other. They say our school is supposed to be CO-ED but really the olny time we sit with the guys is when we are in class .....well a majority of our classes . It isn't really CO-ED if we aren't with guys.
The main reason we want to ACTULLY sit with the guys is because we want to see our 'guy friends' as my mom puts it. My friend Charlie I never really got to see him last year and i expect the same thing this year. Some parents think its just because we want to see or boyfriends. That can be someone else's reason but for me and my friends we want to see out friends.
