Hello, my name is Keesha Ferebee and I'm the founder of an organization called Lending Hands. The organization was built to feed and provide clothing for the homeless community. My organization is based out of the Hampton Roads area of Virginia which includes Chesapeake,Virginia Beach, Norfolk, Portsmouth, Hampton, Suffolk and Newport News. I did some researched and discovered that the City of Chesapeake, the city that i reside in doesn't have any Shelters.The purpose of this petition is to demand the the City of Chesapeake offer more Resources for the homeless community, if the City of Chesapeake offer more resources it would decrease the over crowded shelters in the local area. Please sign the petition, i will be presenting this petition at the City Council Board Meeting. Please sign the petition so that we can get more resources for the homeless community of the Hampton Roads area.
