This is a petition to challenge Tony Abbotts (the prime minister of Australia) view of accepting refugees and asylum seekers to Australia. There are currently 50 Million refugee’s and countless asylum seekers worldwide with Australia only accepting 1 refugees for every 1000 citizens and other countries taking 80 times as many with less resources to cater for them. And the average waiting time of 17 years in a refugee camp with only 1% of all refugees being accepted worldwide per year. This petition is to ask Australia to add more money to the building and upgrading of refugee falsities in Australia. When Australia sends back refugees and asylum seekers back to the countries they came from the people are forced to accept the consequences of their actions which can include death but also Australia is also not upholding international law and breaking basic human rights made by the U.N in 1948. Please sign this petition for the well being of tens of millions of refugees in across the globe as we are privileged to be born into mostly safe and happy lives and often turning a blind eye on the bad things happening around the world.
