I really never thought this would gain so much gravity because industry gatekeepers usually just ignore these things. It feels like we are accidentally starting a total landslide and honestly my brain is spinning a bit because the momentum feels so real right now.

So much for progress. Give her a chance already.
age is totally irrelevant when the work is good. she clearly has the experience that these kids dont have yet. let her in!
This is just sad honestly. talent is talent. why are we still keeping people out because of a number??
industry ageism is a real problem. hiring should be about the best idea not who looks the part. open the spot.
Go Julie!! I have seen her work and she is better than half the people currently in the program.

GET HER IN. 20 years of experience is a HUGE asset not a liability. people need to stop being so backwards.
