If you are also a citizen of the city or concerned individual who would like to see action on the part of the City of Lethbridge to proactively improve operations and policies at the City Animal Shelter in order to improve the lives of animals in Lethbridge and prevent as many deaths as possible, please sign this petition. We would like to see the city be proactive in setting up a shelter operations policy which will: - help prevent deaths due to viral outbreaks through proper cleaning of cages as well as quarantine and vaccination of incoming animals - have animals at the shelter be spayed or neutered prior to adoption - allow rescue groups to work in tandem with the shelter in order to save the lives of more animals and prevent euthanasia wherever possible
