    Comments: Even though I qualify for American Legion membership, this is a perfect "CONNECTING" opportunity for the American Legion to gain lots more membership and keep the organization alive. I think its crazy to exclude various veterans based on certain years while membership is STILL currently open since 1990. I think a lot of Cold War Era veterans did alot more and put up with alot more than some of the veterans joining post 1990. Why not just "CONNECT" the dates If Cold War Veterans join, they can include 1946-1990 people. Since 1990-current is still open, that means 1946-current. Doesn't this make sense Why waste an opportunity like that
