Name: Mackenzie Mcdermott on Dec 11, 2012Comments: Why can't we get a place to ride. There are so many of us out there that have to ride on public and private land and risk being caught, fined and arrested. If there were places set up for recreational riding then a lot more people could ride there and would have less complaints and aggravation by citizensFlag

Name: Leah Descoteaux on Dec 11, 2012Comments: Everyone I knew growing up rode a bike at some point. It's how we met people, had fun, and more importantly stayed out of trouble. Slowly but surely every safe place we had was taken over, or suddenly not allowed by local police. With Rhode Island having so much beautiful property that can never be built on why shouldn't they capitalize on it, and help lower our state debt instead of paying overpriced town workers on overpriced bikes to 'chase' people down. Are you sure these officers arn't just looking for a little fun of there own? Perhaps they once rode too?Flag
