We vote politicians into office, and we vote politicians out of office. So technically politicians are working for "OUR" best interest. Then why is it that politicians vote for their own raises? This too should be in the hands of the voter. Enough IS enough!

Politicians can find the money to raise our taxes, support third world countries, give themselves raises, but can't make up their minds so government offices and landmarks are opened?

Politicians also vote on government contracts from people that DONATE to their election campaign, or are family members and friends. Isn't that "buying" the vote?

 I really don't care about politics, but I do care about being taken advantage of. It is time to take back OUR country, one politician at a time.

So, if you the politician feel you deserve a raise, ask me at election time. I will let you know the answer. And if you don't like my answer, go work for minimum wage and no benefits, or go collect unemployment.
