This petition is for the solidarity of all NHL fans to come together and demand that both the NHL and NHLPA stop with the pety and embarrassing comments being sprung to the media and sit down and negotiate a fair and acceptable CBA not only with yourselves in mind but the individuals who contribute a great amount of hard earned income to your salaries through ticket sales, concessions, memorabilia, TV and Internet streaming , "The Fans".
Stop with the greed and put the egos aside, sit down and figure this out in a professional and adult manner, the fans are not impressed, the NHL has the lowest fan base for a major pro sport but yet you want to be paid like the top leagues. Realise that this is only going to hurt the sport even more, and less fans means even less revenue. You claim to love the game and respect the fans, it's time you start to prove this to the fans or we the fans will take this into our own hands by boycotting not only the game but also the sponsors and endorsors who support the NHL and NHLPA. We will personally notify the sponsors and endorsors of our intentions by sending a copy of this petition.
The game that we have grown up with is at stake here and we the fans are taking a stand, we expect the full cooperation of both parties and a quick resolution or you will be witness to the full force of the threats mentioned by this petition.
