The Super Committee has failed to do what is best for America and the American People by not coming to an agreement about how to go forward to solve our economic mess. The idea here was to put everything on the table and come up with a fair and even-handed way to do this through sacrifices that needed to be made at all levels. This concept apparently eludes Republicans as the only sacrifices they bring to the are for the poor and middle class. Senator Pat Toomey (R), a Super Committee member, expressed on MSNBC and FOX that cutting taxes for the wealthy was a job killer, however, it was never a job creator in the first place when Bush first gave this gift to the wealthy. At this point, I say let the Bush Tax Cuts Expire across the board and re-institute tax cuts for the middle class and poor after the fact through executive order. This has gone on long enough. We now need to stop the bully antics of the Republican leaders and give this country and it's people what it needs.
