Action Required. We submit a petition for DoGamingLeague to revise the ruling regarding Nick "NniiCcKk" Bennett with regards to Rule 8 under Team Line ups and Rosters: "Players may not leave a team to join another, if by doing so the team (which the player is leaving) is left without the minimum number of core players." It is our opinion that the rule should only concern players that leave voluntarily and not players that get put on reserve and then still be forced to stay in a team merely to enable that team to remain competing. Back Story: Ihe management of the EVO line up should be blamed for the lack of core members other than Nick "NniiCcKk" Bennett. The definition of a core player is a member actively participating in the team. In this case, the original EVO team has clearly been hijacked with 4 non-core members currently forming part of the 5 main players in the team. The DGL transfer window is there to allow players to move in between teams and the fact that EVO teams does not have a core team is solely the blame of Wesley "stain" Neveling that repalced two of his core players with poached players giving his members no option but to leave the team they are no longer wanted in. If this ruling stands it begs the question why two people left on the same day but only one is being punished, namely Nick "NniiCcKk" Bennett. Conclusion: In summary, we think that DGL missed the ball here: these are not professional players. No one here is getting paid to play this game. We play this game for fun. A ruling like this, an blatant ignorance of common sense, has left many members of the local Black Ops community outraged. The rules are very clear: DGL admins have the power to make a rulings in order to preserve teams. By not allowing Nick to play for Immersion you are effectively killing the Immersion team which was left for dead by EVO's newest members: Freaky and Insert. Why are they not valued as highly as the EVO team? Currently two members (Beast and Nick) originally forming part of the core of the EVO team are being held against their will after being replaced with other players. Surely, Nick should not be punished for the errors of his ex-team members? Without any malicious intent to his former teammates Nick should have the opportunity to carry on competing and help another team having a fighting chance to stay in the league. As a seriously concerned community, we implore you not to stand idly and make Nick a scapegoat for the indiscretions of his team.
