For over a year Gordon MacRae of Medina Road, Cosham has not been able to park outside his own house due to parking restricions. Although not a god given right, parking outside your own house is a convieniance most of us have. Outside Gordon's house, there are 3 parking bay with a restriction of 1 hours parking with no return for 1 hour. Gordon has recieved many parking tickets outside his own home costing him over £1000. when attempting to park elsewhere in his street, Gordon has been a victim of abuse and damage to his car (punctures etc) from neighboroughs who, in heinsight, want the same thing as he does (parking outside their homes). Gordon now has to park over a mile away causing unneccessary burdens on him to both collect his car and to keep it safe and secure. Gordon has contacted the local council to which he has been told there is nothing that can be done. We think this is wrong and therefore, petition to get one of the parking bays outside Gordon's home relived of its restrictions and to become a private bay for the only house in the street without the facility of parking outside the home.
