Dear Denay's Dr., Don't you understand that the kind people of Cincinnati need Denay to come down here. We miss here terribly and are stuck in the miserable abyss that is law school finals and only Denay's charm can save us from certain doom. We the people therefor respectfully request...nea, we demand that you stop thinking about yourself...or Denay...or baby Maggie, and start thinking about us. By not letting Denay travel merely because she is pregnant is a form of gender discrimination which threatens to reverse the progress that generations of mean lesbian women struggled to procure. Many would consider your restriction enslavement, which I don't need to tell you violates the 13th Amendment. This is America after all...unless Denay's Dr. is in Canada...but I'm pretty sure you're in Michigan, which is strange and foreign but still counts as America. Lucky for you I don't think I could convince very many judges that your restriction violates the 13th Amendment and I don't have the energy to file a frivolous suit. However, I do believe that your restriction is cruel and unusual and is thus a violation of the 8th Amendment (or something). Furthermore, I do believe I have been deprived of my pursuit of happiness without any due process. WHERE'S MY DUE PROCESS DAMNIT!? We the people do hereby submit this petition and the multitude of signatures attached for your consideration with the solemn request that you allow Denay to travel...at least once, to Cincy to visit me.
