A petition to show Nintendo that there is some grass-roots support for an expansion pack and patch for Ocarina of Time 3D.

I would imagine it costing around $10-$20 USD and being downloadable off the Nintendo eShop, or as a repackaged game in retail. If I put a * next to an idea that means it's more conceptual and far-fetched, but not something concretely based.


Wishlist :

New Content :

1. A Cave of Ordeals style dungeon (this idea is from the Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess) to be unlocked once you beat the main campaign
- A dungeon with many floors
- Possibly one version for Young Link, and one for Adult Link?

2. Dark Link Water Temple battle added to the boss battle mode/boss gauntlet after finishing the Water Temple

3*. 2nd Dark Link battle in the Temple of Time
- This would make the most sense for the post-game (how would one "add a story event to save game files that had already passed it?)
- He'd be harder, more aggressive, and have more health than the Water Temple duel

4*.Ura Zelda unreleased content (if it exists!)
- this was an expansion planned for the Nintendo 64DD version of OoT
- it had revamped dungeons that were later released in the current OoT: Master Quest
- It was also rumored to have content including extra dungeons and enemies

5*. A few more types of strong enemies
- Perhaps a few more varieties of Stalfos and Iron Knuckles? (maybe a stronger Stalfos, one that wields two swords, etc.)
- Maybe these new enemies could debut/be exclusive to the special Cave of Ordeals dungeon?

Gameplay Tweaks:
1. Prompt on how to break out of grabbing/holding attacks (such as "Press A!")
- For example: ReDead hugs, Morpha/Bongo Bongo grabbing you, being frozen in Ice
- Link also has no animation for breaking out of grabs... (with ReDead hugs he is suddenly "free"... would be cool if he was shown shoving the ReDead away, no?)

2. Crouch-stabbing shouldn't work so well for magic ball tennis matches, very overpowered!
- If you miss, your shield protects you
- Perhaps a crouch stab should be slow down or send magic balls in a random direction?
- Perhaps shielding magic balls does half-damage and knocks you down?

4. Slightly more use of existing in-game swordplay depth
- Being able to parry sword attacks with your own slashes should be possible, perhaps a well-timed slash even breaks through the enemy attack, and vice versa slashing too early cancels your own?
-* Enemies better at guarding, but not having such wide block angles, forcing you to take the offensive with spin attacks, horizontal slashes, or the 3rd hit combo-finisher slashes Link does to break through/get past their guard instead of just "wait patiently for them to attack"?
- Blocking sword attacks in a small radius with any sword without a shield by holding "R" with a modified guard stance (currently Link holds the hilt in front of his face with the BG sword, how could you block anything like that?)

5. Slightly improved Adult Link world atmosphere
- More barren-looking Hyrule Field; no/few trees and more stumps/shrubs
- More enemies/overworld hazards such as; Iron Knuckle guarding Ganon's castle, Wolfos and Big Stalchilds in Hyrule Field
- More somber/no music for Kakiro village, Kokiri forest, Goron village, Death Mountain
- Gates in front of Lon Lon ranch and Kakiro village to show increased danger/weariness from monsters in Hyrule field by the Hylians

6. Adult Link is so slow...
- Maybe Adult Link/child Link could run slightly faster when weapons are sheathed
- Why are enemies so slow moving too?

7. The boss fight with Ganondorf is much too easy for Master Quest:
- Don't even have to knock the tennis balls up to full speed for him to miss a block, this should be a requirement!
- Hitting it too early should result in the ball missing just like with the weakerPhantom Ganon boss! Currently just hitting the ball guarantees it will go straight back to Ganondorf!

8. Dark Link problems:
- Why isn't he immune to Din's Fire and stuff just like Stalfos (come on he's a BOSS)?
- You should have to fight him with the Master Sword and he should be immune or strong against most other weapons (such as the BG sword, Megaton Hammer, etc.)...

9. Nayaru's Love is so overpowered... it even protects you against Ganondorfs magic tennis balls...

Other/Bug Fixes:
- Using D-Pad to rotate the camera temporarily, and having it reset after 3 seconds (when a targetable enemy is nearby, and the camera is at a bad angle, you're stuck, unable to use L-Targeting to align the camera, D-Pad has no use anyway!)
- You should NOT be able to crouch stab with the Megaton Hammer (well okay it's fun!)
- You SHOULD be able to crouch and stab without a shield with any sword
- Option for sensitivity level of thumbstick aiming relating to bow/hookshot etc.
- Not having a shield = can't crouch with Biggoron's Sword
- You should only be able to deflect magic tennis balls with the MASTER SWORD, not the Biggorons sword, the Megaton Hammer, or using a glass jar!
