Currently, possessing less than 30 grams of marijuana is a criminal offence. However, the current law contradicts past court decisions ,is inconsistently enforced and targets young people and marginalized groups. Thus, the current law is ambiguous and needs reform. In light of this, we want possessing 30 grams of marijuana to be made legal This petition will be brought to your local Liberal or NDP MP. We will use this petition to suggest advocating for this issue will get them elected.
