    Comments: Personally, I my non-motor vehicle commute is via bicycle, but I see no need for skating (whether skateboards or roller skates) to be illegal in a place like Auburn, AL, so I support this cause.

    Comments: I would like for my children to have a safe place to skateboard ... I used to take them to the Auburn rec center to skate but it has recently been torn down. This has saddened us since it is something that we all enjoy to do together as a family.

    Comments: Give these kids something to do besides just get drunk in this town. If skating keeps them focused and athletic then let them skate. With all of the revenue the City of Auburn collects, at the very least, it could compromise by building a safe haven (skatepark) for our skate community to congregate.
