Imagine if you could work off all your debts. Lets say you owe 5000 to a company and have no way to pay it. With Contract Servitude you would be "sold" off to a high payer for all or part of your debt. While in servitude you would receive a small allowance from your purchaser to sustain some personal needs. You would work for the purchaser for a period of time agreed upon in the contract in order to pay off your debt. Under most circumstances the purchaser would provide you with a living arrangement and necessities, (details would vary based upon the contract), and you would provide services to the purchaser as agreed upon in the contract. A contract would require 3 persons signatures of agreement, the purchaser, the debtor, and the authorized trader. It would help to relieve peoples debt in an efficient and consensual manner that helps the economy and opens up a new job market for "contract traders" that would be government licensed.
