Everyday millions of Americans, at least that is as far as we can cover within US law, are suffering within a mental status, which is not presently curable, and is devastating to the person with the chronic depression, along with those affected by it.  Many of these people never live a fulfilled life, and treatment usually does not wind up that effective, for many. Within this petition, I want to get the option available for professional assistance for depression, anxiety, etc., or any other mental condition that prohibits one from living a normal life. The goal this is to provide an alternative to those with stagnant results, and once the person has done whatever is possible, to have the option of assisted suicide, either funded by the patient, or funded by various governments, to help them relieve the pain they go through every day.
