I believe marijuana should be legal because it can benefit the economy because, the state could put a tax on the sale of weed in pharmacies and other special stores. When the government taxes an item they get money and we need all the money we can get with the 3 trillion debt. If we legalize Marijuana than small American businesses would be more successful which would also create more American jobs. It is also safer than alcohol and tobacco and it is not physically addictive compared to all the other drugs people abuse and the side effects are minimal compared to all the other drugs.
