This petition requests your support in order to legalise Gay Marriage in the United States of America. The Current legislature in many states openly discriminate against Lesbian and Gay couples who wish to be married and receive the same benefits as heterosexual couples. These laws need to be reformed in order to preserve the ideas that our country was founded upon; freedom and equality for all, rather than our current religion based legislature. By allowing heterosexual couples to marry and denying the right to homosexual couples is discrimination.
