Civil Rights Violation Stop false reports and Abuse of Power.  

 

Gilbert Griffin is a Financial Banker, with no criminal record is asking Lauderhill Police Department to pay his lawyers fees, court cost and any additional cost associated with this case for violating his constitutional & statutory rights. In the amount of $3,000.00 (Three-thousand dollars) 

 

Legal abuse and civil rights violations consist of police actions that violates a citizens’ constitutional or statutory rights. This abuse involves false arrest, false imprisonment, and harassment when a police officer makes an unlawful search, charge the suspect with a crime, and then lie about the nature of the search.

 

Lauderhill Police Officers violated the 4th amendment right to search and seizure made a  false report to falsely-arrest Gilbert Griffin.

 

Mr. Griffin was also detained for 12 hours without his consent wrongfully depriving him of the 14th amendment to right of liberty without due process of law; denying him within the jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws.

 

Mr. Griffin is a Black American U.S. citizen male who has never been arrested and he also lost his job with his employer. "Publicity which puts someone in false light to the public and appropriation of their name for personal or commercial advantage.”

Gilbert Griffin was charged with trespassing for walking to go to Lauderhill Public Library after parking his car in the parking lot.

 

Police officers - Sgt. John Pulitano ID # 28, Jorge Manchola ID # 291 and Debbie Banner ID # 64 failed to follow the law and Mr. Griffin was found not guilty of the charge(s) of trespassing on May 11, 2009, by Judge Cowart In the County Court of the 17th Judicial Circuit, In and for Broward County, Florida.
