   Comments: i have arranged my house for next year around the fact that i will be studying at becketts park campus. if it moves this will be of a major inconvenience and even more unneccessary expense to me, and all of the people on my course, who i also know have chosen houses to be close to becketts. this choice of university has been because of the campus.

   Comments: One of the main reasons I came to Leeds Met was because of the Becketts Park Campus. I have signed a contract for a house next year in Headingley, a relocation to the City Campus would cost more in travel expenses, had I been aware I would have obtained a house nearer to the City site. It will also be difficult for me to commute between my course and my sport (tennis), which is situated at Becketts Park.

    Comments: The move will disrupt all the students due to the library staying at Becketts Park and also students have already signed contracts for housing in headingley! there will be no parking facilities in the centre of leeds and many students will have to pay for parking.

    Comments: The lack of any information, let alone consultation, on this issue is scandalous. The only "information" we have had is rumour through one of our tutors. All other information has followed specific requests for information. In other words, without either rumour or actively seeking the truth of the situation, our seminar group (10) would have heard nothing of the proposed move. This has led to uncertainty regarding housing as many of us who wanted to live in Headingley would face a bus journey or a long walk. The VC has showed a flagrant disregard for the feelings, education and welfare of law students students over this issue.

Fistly, no appropriate notice has been given to students, especially first year students who have been accommodated in Halls and have now found houses nearer to Becketts Park. I would consider myself as a prime example as I have been living in The centre of leeds for my firsty year and have had to travel to Becketts Park every day at the cost of

    Comments: I don't agree with the move from Beckett park to the City! I am renting a house in Headingly and have been renting this house since moving to leeds to study law at Leeds Met. I want to continue living in this house as not only is it convenient for me to get into University quite easily, but i have enjoyed my stay here also. Moving into the city campus is a waste of time. We haven't even been officially told of the move and i can assure you that both staff and students (whom i have spoken to about this move) are unhappy about it. But speaking on my own behalf i have been told that there will be a learning center in this new building but no cafeteeria or no decent place where we as students can pass the time between lessons. I am obviously aware that the city has plenty of places to dine but they are also costly and with the added costs to me of

    Comments: I am not at all happy as I live in Headingley and signed a contract for a very expensive house simply to be close to the campus.....and now i have to fawk out for bus fare as well! it is a disgrace that we were not forewarned about the move.

    Comments: I think it is an absolute disgrace the way Leeds Met have handled the move of the Law School. We have still not been told what is going on. We attended the meeting with the Dean to try and gain some information only to find the meeting had been cancelled without any notice. My housemates and I have just signed for a house in Headingley so that we could walk to uni only to find that we are no longer at Becketts Park. I am staying in Leeds to do the LPC. After the unprofessional manner in which Leeds Met have handled this issue, I would much rather study at the BPP who have a much higher reputation.

    Comments: in my first yr i was living closer to town so i had to leave earlier than usual. now im gonna have to do the same. i like it at beckett park and dont like the idea of moving our course when were in our last year as im in 2nd yr. its a joke to be fair
