   Comments: I am signing this petition in memory of my son, SGT Ryan E. Doltz, a graduate of the Virginia Military Institute. In a speech shortly after his death in Iraq, a Virginia gentleman said," Ryan was born in New Jersey, but was truly a son of Virginia." That said, Ryan would want to be a part of this petition.

If we want our sons and daughters to live honorable, devout Christian lives of personal integrity, dedication and devotion to duty, then teach them to be like Lee and Jackson. Duty, honor, country and courage age well - as the legacy for all Virginians - old, new and foreign born. Lee and Jackson are guiding lights for the next century of Virginia.. what we should resolve to be.
