Name: Walid Khouri on Jun 30, 2010Comments: The President should publicly declare his position on Freedom of Speech and Democracy. On this topic he CANNOT take the "middle" approach. He should declare on public TV in a speech delivered to our nation and to the world that anyone could criticize him and then and ONLY then he will see his popularity soar.Flag

Name: Ram Smith on Jul 1, 2010Comments: I am very disappointed by the Lebanese government, president and everyone involved in this. I wish Mr. President get a life and spend more time on reducing polution in Lebanon and halting the use of bad Diesel oil. I wish Members of the parilament, cabinet and elected official spend time on more important and crucial topics in Lebanon, such as getting Electricity 24/7 reducing fees for the poor people, building a stronger army, getting rid of palestinians and protecting the security of Lebanon from all foreign countries and terrorists, I'm not excluding anyone. I am a Lebanese who moved to USA and every time I go to Lebanon I get more disgusted of the life there. The roads are horrible, the air is so poluted, people are stressed and smoking all the time. No one is enforcing or respecting the laws and rules. Even the president is about his EGO, Self-pride, and everyone acts as a king. Where is the respect to other humans' rights? Most importantly stop that excuse about the 20 years of way. 20 years has passed and that's the excuse we keep hearing. Move on people. What are you doing to improve the quality of life in Lebanon? I just wish someone would listen to what the people got to say. Look at USA, who would arrest 3 kids for insulting the president? only idiots would spent time or think about those 3 kids... Let them be and express their right. It's only FACEBOOK for God's sake.Flag
