Comments: Leave the structure of First Class Cricket unaltered for at least 4 or 5 years. If tinkering is required, reduce the amount of 20-over cricket played by the First Class counties.

Comments: The ECB are throwing away 200 years of tradition by wanting to hack away at the premier first class championship. They are whoring themselves for the chance of making a fast busk with this T20 fad which will become less and less popular as each year goes by.

Comments: A successful, competitive county championship is at the heart of producing a successful team. It is already being severely marginalised by playing it at ridiculous times of the season

Comments: Some consultation with cricket's grass roots support would not go amiss and perhaps would have avoided this petition in the first place.

Comments: The success of the current format of the County Championship has proved to be good for the game, supporters, players and those who progress to the England Test squad. Do any of those putting these proposals forward actually watch County Championship cricket?

Comments: Those of us with the interests of cricket at heart must do all we can to prevent the carving up of the game for commercial ends. The short-sighted rush by the 20/20 lemmings will culminate in 150 years of cricket history being tossed off the cliff. The process will be irreversible: once the dumbing down of the game is complete, there will be no no place for traditional cricket as we know and love it in what effectively will be a new sport.

Comments: I don't think there is anything wrong with the schedule, as only a few games are played at home anyway. First Class cricket is the breeding ground for Test players as well as providing the cheapest and highest quality entertainment. By cutting the schedule down the ECB are killing cricket.
