We are asking the Administration and Board of LBCC to reconsider the amount and implementation of the proposed CDC fee increase. The proposed increase would put LBCC CDC well out of line with its local and community college peers and significantly impact those of us who love and rely on the CDC. We understand the need of a fee increase, but we ask that the increase be aligned with other preschool programs in the area. We also request that the resulting increase be implemented over several semesters to soften the impact on current CDC families.
