I've started watching foreign coverage of all football matches just to safely stay away from this man's opinions.
Mark ruined this year's BBC World Cup coverage for me with his constant negative commentary and lack of any kind of real football insight. The bloke hasn't kicked a ball in 25 years. It's time to go.
Mark Lawrenson is the worst commentator in tv and I have never heard anyone (friends or colleagues) say a good word about him, ever.

Had enough of his schoolboy jokes and the worst is he thinks he’s funny !!
Out of touch dinosaur of the game. Actually depresses me listening to him commentate. Really feel sorry for everyone who needs to be around him as part of their job.

Every international tournament is ruined by this halfwit. Paid a lot of money, to give poor analysis, perfect example of this is his criticism of Frances penalty.
