This pettion calls on the support of commmunity and law enforcement(Santa fe County Sheriff Dept. Santa fe Police Dept. N.M.State Police) to assist teachers and support staff in monitoring and ensuring safe traffic flow at Sweeney Elementary during the morning and afternoon hours. Dangerous and unsafe conditions exsist when children are coming to school and leaving school. Several incidents have been reported and this problem can only escalate as construction progresses. We ask for a campus presence and roadside presence.
