My father, Lark E. Scott passed away unexpectedly on 11/3/11. Me and my daddy had an extremely close relationship until he married his third wife, Bertha Joan Scott. After that everything was real secretive. I wasn't even permitted to see the will until after his death which was strange because I had been involved in the original will that he drew up in August of 1996. This will is invalid because it lacks the 2 necessary signatures that are needed by 2 witnesses to prove that he was in his right state of mind when he signed it. Me and Bertha went to see her lawyer on 11/17/11. The attorney informed us that it was invalid for the reason stated above. Bertha then offered to get it witnessed, but it was too late because my father had already passed away. She knew this and deliberately went to have it probated the day after we buried my father on 11/27/11.
