Name: David Walls on Jun 6, 2012Comments: As someone who is lucky enough to have a good vegetable garden, I am very aware of the huge benefits of growing my own food, both in terms of personal health, the family budget, physical exercise and sense of satisfaction. There is no doubt in my mind that better access for all even to small parcels of land will contribute enormously to a healthier, wealthier and happier Scotland.Flag

Name: Eileen Ellis on Jun 6, 2012Comments: I worked for 3 years in Climate Change volunteering, and help set up a community garden. It would help children eat better, adults socialise and exercise-and both are good for mental health. As well are reduce carbon emissions and reconnect people to where their food comes from.. I am also a Chemistry graduate, and think reducing the chemical burden in people and planet is absolutely necessary.Flag
