I'm sure everyone in bands and the like will agree that it was a lot easier to promote events when Lancaster had notice boards by the Market, town hall and outside WH Smiths in Market Square. The Council claim the reason these were taken down was because they were a 'fire hazard' but in an attempt to further get people down to shows etc and let people know of events going on, we're trying to get the council to put these back up! They've said that if there is enough demand for this it is something which can be pushed foward within the council and acted upon. Anyone who plays in a band, attends concerts or gigs or just wants to help out, please sign the petition and we'll do our best to get the noticeboards back!
