There is a desperate NEED for additional parking for the businesses along Lakeside Boulevard as well as behind the buildings, where the business owners and other tenants reside. There is horrible congestion and the businesses have suffered for several years with this condition. Business owners as well as tenants that reside in the rear have made several attempts with the City of Shelby Township to resolve this issue. Since nothing has been done to rectify this unacceptable condition, we are taking up this petition to present to the Shelby Township Board.

I have started this petition in hopes of working together with all my neighboring businesses as well as the tenants who reside above the businesses, to get some additional parking for our clients/customers as well as ourselves.
