The parents, families, students and citizens of Lakeland, Tennessee recognize the critical need to educate all Lakeland students K-12. In meeting this objective, we believe:

>Having our own Elementary School, Middle School and High School creates a true sense of community we don't currently have and builds a sense of pride and family among our citizens.

>This allows for true educational control and the ability to teach what we deem appropriate.

>It's in our best interest to control the millions of dollars we currently send to Arlington to educate our students.

>We can create a K-12 system that will compete with private schools in the area and let us attract the type of families and students we want to help build the future of our great city.

>Finally, we believe it's time to bring our students home to Lakeland Prep.

Let it be known, we understand there will be a facility tax or other type of investment needed, but that our property values will increase as a return on that investment.
