Comments: I grew up playing from sun up to sun down in the "green bowl" and I am certainly not the only one that has, it has kept us off the streets by doing something that we loved whether it was lacrosse, ball hockey or ice hockey. It was a place where you knew that your kids were safe because it was a tight knit group that were always there and looked out for everyone. It was a place that people of all talents could go and not worry about how bad they were at the sport, if you asked players from Brampton on any major roster they will tell you that they fine tuned there skills at the green bowl. You are not allowed to throw a ball around on schools or buildings or any other place for that matter so where is a kid to go and shoot the ball around, we have to pay $10 per person to rent a floor to get a game of pick up going and that's usually well after midnight that we have to play. We need a place where we can go anytime of the day and just have fun without any worries and without having to constantly pay for floor time and I can take my kids to play the sports that they have grown to love.

Comments: I live in Brampton and was disappointed when Bramalea Secondary School tore down the boards of their outdoor box and replaced them with basketball nets. We need a new place to play outdoor lacrosse!

Comments: Brampton is a lacrosse city. As such the City Council and Mayor should stand behind their commitment to provide appropriate areas for lacrosse (both outside & inside). We helped put lacrosse on the map and should not be an embarassment to the sport by neglecting our responsibilities to provide adequate facilities and support to our children. Sincerely, Pat Enright

Comments: I grew up with a bowl as a kid and i am ready to start my own family, and it would be nice for my children to have the same pride for it as i had it was a teaching ground for me and so should be for the next generation. We all playe dour best when we were just having fun in the bowl.

Comments: Why do governments feel they know more than there people. Why do recreation department tend to try and invent new sports and recreation at the demise of traditional sports. If they spent as much time helping traditional sports as they do inventing new ones to justify there jobs, our money as tax payers would be better spend. I don't mean to say we shouldn't have new sports, but not at the expense of traditional ones. Social faberic is not a bottom line topic.

Comments: They are playing outdoors in Winnipeg not for lack of space in arenas. Apparently through the grapevine in Caledon an arena manager from another area was willing to donate arena boards when they were renovating their facility, all that Caledon had to do was put down a surface. What more could you ask for Nothing ever came of this and just fizzeled out too bad, as it would have been great especially when you drive into a parking lot like Mayfield to see kids running all over the place and getting chased from inside and out around the arenas for throwing lacrosse balls........ wow an outdoor place to do the same...imagine that.....no more dents on my vehicles.......

Comments: Brampton needs this. Actually all centers need an outdoor box. Not only to enjoy the outdoors, but to bring down costs. The mayor should step up or should not have even opened the mouth.
