Name: Rod Allegro Norman on Mar 19, 2012Comments: It is painful to watch as the offense,"lack there of", just grinds the clippers to a halt. My preschooler could run a more sophisticated offense than VDN has in place. In fact, I don't see any plays being run at all and never any adjustments within the flow of the game. And let's not talk about the defense. Let me describe it in a simple phrase..."switch on every defensive series until you are out of position or in a mis-match". That's our strategy. We never allow our guys to man-up one on one even when it is to our advantage to do so...Just so frustrating when the GM has done such a wonderful job constructing a team of great players at every position. VDN has to go now...no more delay as it is draining the moral out the players and the fans..Flag

Comments: Yes please! VDN's teams consistently under-perform the talent he has on his teams. It's not a surprise that the Bulls get to the Eastern Conference finals and DRose wins MVP after he left.Flag -

Name: Anonymous on Mar 19, 2012Comments: This team has too much talent to be reliant on cp3's heroics late in games to beat bad teams on our home court. Opposing coaches have figured out how to defend the pick in roll yet VDN fails to make adjustments or implement other strategies. Vinny has no business being an NBA coach. Case in point: the turnaround in Chicago after Vinny was paid to stop coaching and replaced by a "real" coach.Flag

Name: Stan on Mar 19, 2012Comments: Players can get into a shooting slump, but his philosophy is that if you don't take ANY plays off on defense. If you do, you don't play. He allows Mo and Foye to shoot as much as they want. They frequently shoot the most on a per minute basis, and also more shots than anyone else. There is a reason they are left open...because they cannot consistently make an open shot. This coach allows this to go on like a poison that is spreading. How does your 6th man Mo Williams allowed to shoot so much as the point guard? It is not even off a pick-n-roll. He does nothing on defense. Does not even bump his man while on defense, thus allowing an unimpeded access to the rim. In the end he is too short to block the shot anyways. He simply runs side by side with his man on every play. It is disruptive to CP3 when they are sharing the ball for 20 minutes of the game. Nothing gets done on offense OR defense. Look at Blake getting 12 shots per game the last 2 games whereas FOYE and Williams and even Butler getting way more. It makes no sense. Even if we make playoffs, we exit first round with this type of offense. Guaranteed. Coach has no will NOR any method to change the philosophy. Too late for him!!!Flag

I know Donald doesn't like to "waste" his money so maybe he can get Billups to coach the rest of the year. He at least has the respect of the team and is a proven winner.Flag

You don't have to substitute an entire team especially with your sorry bench. If you need directions please consult the box scores of other playoff teams (Celtics, Lakers, etc). Only Sterling would not have fired your sorry self by now.Flag

Name: Anonymous on Mar 22, 2012Comments: I am sick and tired of watching the greatest Clipper team in history underachieve due to this horrible coach. Nonsensical rotations, poor timeout usage, and poorly-conceived plays have killed this team, which would be winning the Western Conference right now with a competent coach. At time of writing, we just lost to the Thunder, 114-91, a night after losing to the Pacers 102-89. As a lifelong fan, I just can't watch depressing performances like this anymore with this much talent on the roster. Please do the right thing and fire Vinny now, before we fall out of the playoff picture entirely.Flag
