    Comments : It is important that all meat products should be labelled halal, as it is not the actually stunning one way or another, of the animal before death that causes a problem, but rather it's the Islamic chant / prayer is pronounced over the creature. To me, this means it has been sacrificed to a god, or idol. As a Christian believer this is something I will avoid at all costs. It is surely very easy to introduce labelling by law, so that the majority of our population can actually choose to eat this meat, or not. Where has our freedom to choose what we eat gone?

    Comments : I fully support this petition and very much resent the fact that several of our supermarkets are selling halal lamb and chicken without labelling. Waitrose is, I understand, the worst offender, all its lamb being halal apart from Duchy Original lamb. I find this creeping Islamification very disturbing.

    Comments : the ritual prayer made to allah at the point of slaughter of an animal for food is not a requirement for muslims who reside in non muslim countries! This is an imposition muslims state must be carried out but the koran states quite the opposite. In contrast, the UK government repeatedly fails its predominant Christian population due to its lax moral position and capitulation to secularism and liberalism, which now permeates our rotten society.
