We, the residents of the Lakes at Ascension Crossing neighborhood, petition the Ascension Parish Department of Public Works to reduce the existing speed limit of 25 MPH to 19 MPH on our neighborhood streets. We hope the odd-numbered speed limit will grab a driver's attention and cause that person to slow down.
