La Curvita (at 1-99 Rodmen’s Neck 10464) (It’s also a Police Range and a Baseball field.) We need this park for our refuge, we pay taxes and a lot of us are retired, a lot of us from all New York City Departments. We come here to play some dominos, listen to some music, eat some food and get some sun in the summer and spend some good time’s with our friend’s and family .We've been here for over 40 years.We all understand that there’s a lot of Police Activities going on and we respect and  listen to they’re demands at all time’s .All we ask is to spend a little time at this place we call La Curvita. But at time‘s if the Police is not harassing us, the Park’s Dept. starts telling us that the music is to high or that we Shouldn’t be playing dominos or hanging out at this park. The Parks Dept removed all the tables and benches that once were here also another way of pushing us out., there’s no bathroom’s here at all at least they should have some water potty’s. This is a Public Park and like I said earlier we pay our taxes just for this. So we can gather together with our friends and family and have that American Dream of having FUN. We need our Bronx Borough President and our NYS Senator to represent us in this battle for all of us at La Curvita.
