Name: Roz Zakholy on Dec 15, 2006Please choose one::Place of birth, residence, and a short comment : I do strongly support an Independent Kurdistan, because it is a legitimate right for all Kurdistanis , if the "FREE NATIONS!!!" truly believe in "EQUALITY", "HUMAN RIGHTS", "DEMOCRACY", and not the "HYPOCRISY". An Independent Kurdistan is the only guarantee to preserve our beautiful Kurdish culture from those, who can not accept the cultural diversity, social harmony, and, who will never stop doing any thing they can to destroy the Kurdish culture, and our beautiful Kurdistan. And the only guarantee to bring security, and stabilty to the Middle East, which has never tasted it before. Long live Kurdistan Long live Kurdistan Roj Zakholy / AustraliaFlag

Name: Huner Jangir on Dec 15, 2006Please choose one::Place of birth, residence, and a short comment : I vote I for Independance. Kurds reside mostly in Turkey, Iraq, Iran, and Syria. Many people deny the existence of Kurdistan but how can they when some major cities, Like Diyarbakir, Mahabad, Kirkuk, etc. in these 4 respective countries comprise of atleast 90% Kurds. These cities are so "Kurdish" in Turkey for example, that Turkish government workers are reluctant to work in these cities because there are so few Turks living there. By order of logic, it must mean that the natural inhabitants were Kurds. They did not just come there in the last 500 years, but were the earliest inhabitants. It's not like Kurds dominate just one city in terms of population percentage; this is the case with multiple cities which are geographically in the "middle" of all 4 respective countries mentioned above. The Kurds have been opressed, especially since the Treaty of Versailes in 1921 where they were not granted any autonomy over themselves. They deserve their freedom and will contribute to the greater middle east and Turkey, Iraq, Iran, and Syria will prosper as well because the governments will no longer have to combact Kurds militarily; instead, Kurds can be integerated into a greater middle-east. Most importantly, Turkey must realize that the EU will never let it in enter until it promises Kurds their rights and admits to the Armenian genocide; I mean how can you torture Kurds and just burn villages and expect to enter a democratic union. The government is blind but god bless the muslim Turks. The independance of Kurdistan is vital for peace in the middle-east. Once again, I vote for I.Flag
