| 1456 | Berwari | 01 | I think it's time for 40-45 million Kurds to call for Independence now rather than wait till another collapse of Kurdish aspiration to be free! We have been at the mercy of Turks, Arabs and Persian and so far each group has tried their best to eliminate our existince and by calling for independence, we have a chance to preserve our identity as Kurds....Free and Independent Kurdistan is a must. |

Emerging with increased intensity since the 1990s, democratization, peace-building and reconstruction of post-conflict and war-torn societies which have become central to todays international relations and development agendas. Why not do what is right for the Kurds at long last? |

I maintain the view that every nation has the right for self-determination. For as long as this can be achieved through consensus and respect for all parties involved. |

| 1465 | Ali Sharif Azadeh | 01 | As an Iranian nationalist, I support independence of Kurdistan. Arabs are just bastard savages and can't be trusted. Kurds must make a separate country. |

As it has not become a reality, yet Kurdistan as an indipendent state should exist in our sauls and within our beaten hearts as it has happened, then it would happen and would only be a matter of time. |

Having Kurdish independence isn't about only having a nation to call your own. An identity is critical and crucial at this day and age but more importantly, we're talking about human rights. The Kurds have been oppressed and treated worse than animals by three civilizations that wouldn't have been where they were if it had not been for the hardwork of the people that belonged to those areas. Having independence will recognize us as people who were created by the same God that created the rest of the world. Why should we have anything less simply because we are different? We may not share the same culture, language or religion in some cases but we all have the same God-given rights to live without being harassed from everyone around us.
The majority of the governments in the Middle East are just a bunch of bullies who don't even know how to govern their own houses let alone a whole nation. Its no wonder they can't get along, fix your house first then begin with others but sadly no one will look at it that way. |
