Comments: A parking garage is the worst solution because it helps the fewest people. If we opened public transportation to the entire community (such as a bussing system), we could split cost, adapt to the 20,000+ surge in the population, and actually cater to the needs of the students like most D I schools.

Comments: I do not feel the new construction of the parking garage at K-State is in the best interest of all employees and Faculty. This will create more early morning traffic problems than we all ready have in our small community.

Comments: The new parking garage will not benefit students very much for how expensive it would be. I am against the parking garage and against more increases in parking permit fees to pay for a strucutre that i will not use.

Comments: I do agree with your point. $18 M. I can not imagine what will cost the university to run a shuttle bus. This one of the reasons many of my friends refused to join KSU. I think University should take students need a first priority .

Comments: I think this paritcular parking garage is dumb and not only because of the price, but because it would ruin the "entrance facade" to campus. The big purple K-state sign on the union is like a big welcome sign. The parking garage would kill it.

Comments: Do we really want a huge parking garage at the main gate to campus I know I don't, build it in the lot west of the Old Stadium and make more than 30% of the stalls available to students.

Comments: Every Morning on my 6 block walk to campus, I see people getting in their cars and driving to campus. Many of them in the last 2 blocks. It's insane. We do not need a parking garage, we need more common sense.

Comments: For every 1 teacher there are 7 parking spots on camus. For every 7 students there is 1.1 spots. Change the format of the parking situation and save money! Teachers, the parking board is corrupt, don't waist our money be fair!
