On 19th September 2013 Krispy Kreme USA encouraged Americans to come to their stores talking like a pirate in celebration of the International Talk Like A Pirate day. Those who did were given a free doughnut. Those who dressed like a pirate were given more free doughnuts. http://www.krispykreme.com/pirate In the UK, sadly, we were given nothing. In order to encourage the celebration of this annual event, and while recognising that offers in the UK are normally less generous than in the USA, this petition asks Krispy Kreme UK to share the joy and follow the lead of their American counterparts. We believe this could be both profitable and in other ways beneficial to Krispy Kreme and the large number of secret pirates based in the UK.
