Name: Anonymous on Jul 9, 2007State:Country: SEComments: Football--hitting, tackling, and blocking men on a field for salary, athletic scholarship, or dubious glory--is a wasteful, ridiculous activity; however, Mr. Kramer does deserve to be in the Pro Football Hall of Fame if only for his recent activities to see that disabled pro football veterans get the medical help they need during their retirement years. For that he should be applauded and helped. Put Jerry Kramer in the Hall of Fame.Flag

Name: Roan Rickard on Jul 16, 2007State: MICountry: USComments: Jerry Kramer was the prototypical guard. He is a vision in mud, blood and tape always in the action, always engaged. His lead blocking was warrior ballet. He attacked defenses like he was taking Suribachi. He should be in the hall of fame. No question.Flag

Name: Rick Mahlke on Jul 16, 2007State: COCountry: USComments: The years he wan't all pro were 1961 (broken ankle) 1964 (colostomy) & 1965 (played, but less than 100% from intestinal surgery). He was elected all pro one year while playing with a detached retina. This is a case of "Book Publishing Envy" on the part of sportswriters who choose for the HOF - Kramer is a best selling author, they, by and large, are not.Flag

Name: David Ress on Aug 3, 2007State: WICountry: USComments: I'm from the same home town as Fuzzy Thurston, so have a special place for Fuxzz and Jerry in my memories. I met Jerry many years ago and there was never a more honorable person to play the game. Forget the stats, which were incredible. He is a good man that deserves better than to be treated like this. If anyone should be in Canton, Jerry Kramer should be, right along with his teammates.Flag

Name: Don Hasenzahl on Nov 6, 2007State: MACountry: USComments: Hi, Well I see that the pro football hall of fame seniors committee has announced it's two nominees for election into the pro football hall of fame for the class of 2008 and guess what, they have snubbed JERRY KRAMER AGAIN. I really have the belief that they are going to wait till jerry is gone before they consider him for election. Several guards from jerry's era have been elected into canton in recent years that had less credentials than jerry. it has been a total shame for many years now that he is not in there and it still continues.Flag
