Jerry Kramer is deeply admired by residents throughout the Rocky Mountain States. There is absolutely NO REASON or good excuse for his not being elected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Name: Anonymous on Feb 14, 2007State: MACountry: USComments: The snubbing of Jerry Kramer has gone on long enough. Lately other guards of the past that played during the time that jerry played have been elected with less credentials. I believe that this snubbing is deliberate and a total injustice to him, his family, and the Green Bay Packers and the fans. I saw the way that Troy Aikman and Emmit Smith wined and complained that Michael Irvin should be in the hall of fame the last two years and what do you know, they decided to elect him because of it even though he had just an average career stat wise.Flag

Name: Phillip Abramoff on Feb 15, 2007State: CACountry: USComments: Jerry Kramer is the greatest guard in the history of the game. He revolutionized the position. He was the heart and soul of the Green Bay Packers, and he is being passed over because so many Packers of that era are already in. It is a travesty that Stan Jones, Billy Shaw, Gene Hickerson, Larry Little, and Tom Mack are in, and Jerry Kramer is not.Flag

Name: Mark Dufresne on May 27, 2007State: CACountry: USComments: Jerrt Kramer as one of the reasons I began playing football as a young man. His book, Instant Replay, is still one of my favorite books of all time. Supplementing (and possibly even surpassing) the many tremendous accomplishements he garnered while playing the game for one of the truly iconic teams of NFL lore, his chronicle of the league at that time was one of the reasons the NFL went from 2nd in the minds of America (to baseball) to first. Jerry Kramer did more for the future of the NFL than Joe Namath did, in my opinion--and regadless, he did it with the greatest of class and spirit that would be expected from the titans who played in that era. No guard in history ever played better or did more to launch the NFL in a time when it needed it most. Put Jerry Kramer in the Hall already!!!Flag

Name: Anonymous on Jun 27, 2007State: PACountry: USComments: I'm stunned that Jerry Kramer still isn't in the Hall of Fame. He helped make one of the greatest plays in football history (The Packer Sweep) famous. His teams wouldn't have won the Championships they did without him. It all starts up front. This needs to be rectified next year, anyone who has watched football knows he should've been inducted years ago.Flag
