Name: Timothy Swain on Aug 27, 2005State: INCountry: USComments: I fear that too many players are now added to the Hall soon after they become eligible. While they may also be worthy candidates, many hardly represent the NFL when it was at its best. Jerry Kramer was almost certainly the best guard of the NFL's "Golden Era." His absence from Canton is a mystery and a frustration.Flag

Name: Bryan McCormick on Sep 25, 2005State: NECountry: USComments: It's simple, really. Without Kramer and Thurston, the pulling guards for the Green Bay dynasty team of the '60's, there would have been no dynasty in Green Bay in the '60's. Jerry Kramer ought to be one of the inductee's from that "old school" era of professional football.Flag

Name: Gary Paige on Oct 20, 2005State: MNCountry: USComments: It's time for the Hall Of fame voters to do something that should have been done long ago. That is to INDUCT Jerry Kramer into the Pro Football Hall Of Fame. I've followed Mr Kramer's Career With the Green Bay Packers and found this man not only to be a professional in every sense of the word, but also a classy individual in public. This man Learned a great deal from his time with Vince Lombardi. First as a professional football player and then in his life after football. In my opinion there are players in the HOF that are not as deserving because of their character. Look at Mr Kramer's accomplishments in pro football and tell me he doesn't belong in the HOF. Do what is right and INDUCT Jerry Kramer NOW.Flag

Name: Drew Cook on Nov 20, 2005State: OHCountry: USComments: Jerry Kramer was not only an excellent, All-Pro caliber professional football player, but also an articulate and instrumental voice, through his best-selling book "Instant Replay," in helping bring the modern NFL game closer to millions of fans, and in a way, helping it become the sport it is today.Flag

I was a junior while he was a senior and a team leader. I followed his career while he was on those fabulous Green Bay teams. How can a man who was was selected as a player on the the NFL's First 75 years team be left out of the Hall of Fame It is an outrage.Flag

Name: Benning Ballou on Jan 20, 2006State: MNCountry: USComments: The fact that Jerry Kramer has been passed over 11 times for induction into the NFL Hall of Fame is an utter and complete outrage!!! Forget about the fact that he was a physical and spiritual foundation block on one of the truly greatest teams that massively contributed to building the modern-day NFL; of far, far greater importance was the fact that he was a role-model, non-pareil for all of us who played as kids in those days.... Football has never had a more down to earth yet elequent spokesman for the real values that make the game what it is in essence.... beyond all the hype, money, greed and bullshit so pervasive today. To the utter morons who have failed 11 times to induct this champion I can only say what planet are you orbiting Get the facts, get out and discuss this great player with some fans and players (Bob Lilly, Alex Karras, Alan Page et al) of the era and ELECT JERRY KRAMER TO THE NFL HALL OF FAME!!!!! Benning E. BallouFlag
